Album of the Millennium:
Tammy Faye Bakker's We're Blest (1979)
on the PTL Records and Tapes label
-
Songs:
-
- Yes, the Queen of Kristian Kabuki has favored we sinners with
a great album and We're Blest indeed. The credits should also
be shared with her collaberator Gary Paxton, or as it says on
the album,
- "Produced and Arranged by the PAX
- GARY SANFORD PAXTON"
- Rumors say that Gary and Tammy had an extramarital affair in the
70's, but who am I to pass on rumors? (on the internet of all
places!)
- Irony perhaps that this is the same Gary S. Paxton that created
the hit single "Monster Mash" back in the day?
- When Tammy sings the seas part and locusts plague the wicked!
Her voice can cause stigmata at 40 cubits (that's good!) Four
Stars! Check it Out!
